Dr. Rajesh Sinha did his post graduate (MS-Surgery) from SMS Medical college & Hospital, Jaipur in 1999. After that he did his senior residency in general and laparoscopic surgery in a BJRM Govt. Hospital, Delhi. He is a well experienced laparoscopic surgeon and learnt the art of laparoscopic surgery from Dr. C. Palanevelu, one of the pioneers of the laparoscopic surgery in India, at GEM Hospital, Coimbatore.
He further mastered the technique of advanced laparoscopic surgery from Ethicon institutes in Delhi & Mumbai. He worked as consultant laparoscopic surgeon in various hospitals in Delhi from 2000 to2008. He has given his services in many of leading hospital of Delhi such as Moolchand hospital, Jeewanmala hospital, Marahaja Agrasen hospital, BJRM Govt. Hospital and Seghal nursing home.
In May 2008 he joined Apollo BSR hospital, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh and since then he is working as senior laparoscopic surgeon and heading the department of the minimal access surgery and general surgery.
At Apollo BSR Hospital he did many Laparoscopic surgery simple as well as difficult one including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic appendicectomy.
He has lots of interest in presenting paper and attending conferences also, and has presented many papers in various conferences. He is also esteemed member of many medical societies like Association of Surgery of India (ASI), Indian association of gastro- endoscopic Surgeons (IAGES), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Asia-Pacific Hernia Society (APHS), Hernia Society of India, and Association of Minimal access Surgeon of India (AMASI).Recently he was awarded Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastro-endoscopic Surgeon ( FIAGES ) and fellowship of Association of Surgeon of India in 2009.
